Dubai’s highly anticipated Trump International Hotel & Tower is moving into its next stage of construction following the appointment of Gulf Asia Contracting to deliver the project’s podium. The development, located on Sheikh Zayed Road, is being developed by Dar Global in collaboration with the Trump Organization.

The contractor appointment comes as the project’s enabling works approach completion, with the remaining works expected to be completed in September 2026. The transition marks an important milestone for the development as construction progresses toward the main building works.

The Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai is planned to rise approximately 350 metres across 80 floors, creating a prominent addition to Dubai’s luxury real estate and hospitality landscape. The development will feature a five-star hotel, branded residences and an exclusive private members’ club.

Dar Global CEO Ziad El Chaar said the appointment of Gulf Asia Contracting represents another significant milestone for the project and reflects the developer’s focus on working with established regional contractors throughout the construction process.

First announced in April 2025, the project represents a collaboration between Dar Global and the Trump Organization. It is positioned as the first Trump International Hotel and Tower in the region and follows several other projects developed through the partnership.

The tower is also expected to introduce several distinctive luxury features. Plans include Dubai’s highest outdoor swimming pool and two signature penthouses featuring sky pools. The residences are designed to offer expansive views of the Dubai skyline, while residents will also have access to The Trump, a private members-only club.

With enabling works nearing completion and podium construction moving forward, the latest contractor appointment signals continued progress on one of Dubai’s most closely watched luxury developments. As construction advances, the project is expected to further strengthen its presence within Dubai’s high-end residential and hospitality market.
