Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) has introduced a new off-plan mortgage scheme aimed at making property ownership more accessible and flexible for buyers in the UAE. This move is expected to boost confidence in the real estate market while simplifying the financing process for under-construction properties.
Traditionally, buyers of off-plan properties faced uncertainty when it came to securing mortgages, often needing to wait until project completion. However, ADCB’s latest initiative changes that by offering early mortgage pre-approval, allowing buyers to plan their finances with greater clarity from the start.
One of the key features of this scheme is that eligible customers can secure financing of up to 50% of the property value at an early stage of the purchase. This significantly reduces the financial burden during the construction phase and provides buyers with increased confidence in their investment.
Additionally, the pre-approval remains valid for up to 12 months and can be renewed annually until the property is handed over. Once the project is completed, buyers can smoothly transition into a full mortgage plan, ensuring a seamless journey from purchase to ownership.
The scheme also includes attractive benefits such as zero processing fees, zero valuation charges, and competitive interest rates starting from around 3.49% per annum for an initial fixed period. These incentives make the offering even more appealing, especially for first-time buyers and investors looking to enter the UAE’s dynamic property market.
This development reflects a broader shift in the UAE real estate sector, where banks are increasingly supporting off-plan investments with structured financing solutions. By enabling early-stage mortgage approvals, ADCB is helping bridge the gap between developers and buyers, making the home-buying process more transparent and predictable.
Overall, ADCB’s off-plan mortgage scheme marks a significant step forward in property financing, offering flexibility, affordability, and confidence to a wider range of homebuyers in the UAE.
