Dubai Holding Signs Dh5 Billion Deal for New HQ and Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers

Dubai Holding has awarded a Dh5 billion construction contract to China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME) for the development of its new headquarters and Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers. The agreement represents the largest building contract awarded by Dubai Holding to date and marks another major investment in Dubai’s commercial and luxury residential real estate sectors.

The new Dubai Holding headquarters is planned as a distinctive corporate landmark in the city, with its opening scheduled for 2029. Designed by the internationally recognised architecture and engineering firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the headquarters will feature a distinctive circular form centred around an open-air atrium and landscaped courtyard. Expansive terraces will also be incorporated into the design to support collaboration and create a modern working environment.

Sustainability, employee wellbeing and technology are key elements of the headquarters design. The project is being developed with the aim of meeting leading international sustainability and wellbeing standards while supporting Dubai’s wider ambitions for a lower-carbon future. The development is expected to establish a new benchmark for premium office space in the emirate.

Alongside the headquarters, the construction contract will advance Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers, a major branded residential development comprising 754 residences across two towers. The project will add another high-end residential destination to one of Dubai’s prominent districts, strengthening the city’s growing branded residences market. Handover of the residential development is scheduled for 2030.

Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers is being developed by Meraas and designed by SCDA Architects. The project combines contemporary architecture with Jumeirah’s hospitality expertise and is expected to offer residents a curated range of lifestyle, wellness and leisure experiences. Its location will provide direct connectivity to some of Dubai’s key business, cultural and lifestyle destinations.

The Dh5 billion investment reflects Dubai Holding’s long-term strategy of developing high-quality assets that contribute to the emirate’s economic growth. The combination of a landmark corporate headquarters and luxury branded residences demonstrates the continued expansion of Dubai’s premium commercial and residential property landscape.

With the headquarters expected to open in 2029 and the residences scheduled for handover in 2030, the development is positioned to become an important addition to Dubai’s future skyline and luxury property market.
